Shion kept her alive for hours to torture her. Takano's watanagashi actually goes by much faster. Rika also somehow had some super investigation and knew everything that was going on during the Meakashi/Watanagashi fragments, down to character motivations, in spite of her completely incompetency regarding the main plot.

It's very possible she wasted most of her 100 years focused on Wata/Mea fragments, believing the Sonozaki were the culprits. She even knows everything starts with the bear.

She was suspicious of the Sonozaki group. I think it's possible she wasted most of her century on that and only threw away that suspicion during the actual Watanagashi chapter (which would explain her dog and cat talk with Keiichi), so afterwards there were only about 3 loops before she found out about Takano.

She gives up immediately in Tatari. She tries to stop Shion by herself in Mea. Then she's busy with all the Rena stuff in Tsumi and does nothing regarding the main plot. Then finds out it's Takano in Mina.
