Yo guys, I'm pretty poor but I am gaining a modest savings. I think I want to buy a plot of land in the country side but not too far from civilization and services such as high-speed internet. I want to build my own house so I can continue to live debt free. Do you think it is feasible to slowly build a brick house as I go? I would think something like that wouldn't be too horrible to construct. I'd just need to contract some guys to pour the foundation but after that I can take my time laying brick and finding deals on all the things I need. I would build it on the weekends and continue to live at my current apartment for a few years until it's finished. I'm highly dedicated and am wiling to toil and study the necessary crafts I need to learn. Has anyone though of doing something like this?
