Man, kpop, I admit to not knowing much about it, but the girls are more 'perfect', and there are a lot of kpop idols that can sing, dance, act, and actually do well in all of them. It's definitely more refined, but there's a lot of stupid things that happen too and annoying songs because they lean more towards a rap/rnb aesthetic.

Jpop idols have a ton of variety shows so I feel like it's nicer that you watch them do silly things and you get to know them on a more 'personal level'. I don't think there's anything wrong with getting into jpop idols, unless you get super into it and call people cucks just because some girl got into a relationship scandal.
