大橋 is おおはし/Ōhashi, not おおあし/Ōashi, it can't not have an h.

It's just janky romanization standards anyways. おお gets alternatively romanized as Ō (which is the most correct really but a pain to use), O, OH, OO, or OU. They're using Ohashi because dropping the macron is the government standard that's used in English spellings of words like Tokyo (Tōkyō/Toukyou/Tohkyoh/Tookyoo) and Osaka (Ōsaka/Oosaka/Ohsaka/Ousaka) and Ohhashi looks retarded to everyone.

I think interchanging ou and oo is really fucking dumb because おう and おお are different sounds and generally prefer Oohashi, Toosaka, and theoretically but not practically Toukyou, but that's just me. The problem with that way is you need more familiarity with Japanese pronunciation than Tohsaka or you'll read it as Two-saka.
