It was good, but a little on the small side, but if you're a beginner to spelunking you'll probably have a great time. Thing is, I've done some pretty intensive, intermediate-advanced caving around the States (no installed lights, bring a few experienced buddies and spend 8 hours underground for a few days sort of thing), so to me it made me want to do that sort of thing more than anything. Anyway, it was a fun cave that didn't take too long and wasn't physically difficult (some low parts where you have to crouch or crawl, maybe 2.5 or 3 feet high?) so it's perfect for beginners. Your entry ticket (800¥ I think?) includes a helmet and headlamp. There are five or so cool caves around the area(including an ice cave that remains frozen year-round), and it's worth getting out there to see the lakes and Mt. Fuji anyway.
