Okay, so I recently finished ep1-5 of Umineko. I really enjoyed it, it's well-made, (mostly) fun to read and really exciting sometimes. I can see why it has become so popular. However, there is one thing I just CANNOT stand regarding Umineko, and that is, the fucking RIDICULOUS fanbase on /jp/.

Seriously, I don't think you can find such a fucking retarded circlejerking r07-worshipping bunch of retards anywhere else on the internet. The Umineko discussion threads are all filled with either
#1 Really shitty RPing or
#2 discussion of theories so pathetic that any normal person would bend over and laugh at your "intellectual discussions". That coupled with the worship of r07 as some kind of supreme god just does it for me.
When people make threads about "I'm leaving /jp/ to live 4 months in the woods to avoid ep6 spoilers because I want to experience the great r07-samas great works first hand when the honored Witch Hunt masters release it for me, so I can have intellectual discussions with other intellectuals such as myself" it seriously makes me want you all to die in a fire.

It's a fucking series of sound novel mysteries, NOT some kind of SUPREME MYSTERY, NOT SOLVING IT WILL RESULT IN THE END OF THE UNIVERSE. Christ.

Hey /jp/ as you might have noticed, there have been images of photoshopped Hollywood actors modelled after Umineko characters.

As I don't think it was ever completed, I'm going to take a stab at finishing them.

The only ones I don't seem to have are Kanon and Bernkastel out of the maincast, so if you'd like, name me who you think would be suitable to fit those roles, and I'll make it happen.
