It's not the readme's fault that you can't follow 10 steps. I'm surprised you even managed to install the base game at all considering that it doesn't say that the base game is in the "Puppet Dance Performance" folder and that it just says "Install the translation" instead of "Install the translation using TPDP_Patch_102" if you missed a fucking folder that was in the same place as the update files and installation ISO.

Eh. I mean as a whole Touhou is definitely harder than the games I played as a kid, but if you removed the flip aspects of Seija's cards they'd be something you'd find on a Stage 2 boss, maybe Stage 3. This of course only applies to the cards with flip aspects, the ones that don't have the flips are actually hard.


As to the discussion of "just bomb everything," I don't really have fun with that. I want to capture enough spellcards in a run to be able to look back and say "oh hey, I did pretty okay this time." It's why I mark the number of spellcards cleared in runs where said number is particularly high for me. I once did a run in SA where I captured every card in Stages 1-5 sans one of Orin's, I love looking at that run. I think this mentality is part of why my Sakuya-B run of DDC is so hard, though, I keep dying due to my reluctance to bomb, even if Sakuya-B's bomb is almost literally worthless due to its short invincibility frames and it doing zero damage.
