I have to ask if that pic is in any way related to your statement.

I do want to make my own doujin works. I am okay at drawing and okay at making music. What I lack is dedication, discipline and true skill to keep me from retrospectively hating most of what I do. However, I will still continue to try, and encourage everyone here to do the same. A lot of us have some sort of passion or another, but are stuck in a toxic mindset. The mindset of viewing ourselves of worthless, inferior to others, making us give up before we even really try. We're keeping ourselves hostage and try to break free by succumbing to some sort of substance abuse or end it all by killing ourselves... when we should make ourselves dependent on the love we claim to have for the things we consume, like Touhou, music and drawing, all those beautiful, inspiring things. Love needs work. And so we have to work on ourselves to make us worthy, so we can finally give back what we have been given, tenfold.
I wish you all good luck. Please do your best, /jp/. I am here for you like you have been here for me for many years.
