Let me tell you guys what actually happened to BaraKaren:

>Barara and Karen record MK8 session for their next video at the space station, both plan to become well known Vtubers
>Onboard AI Kizuna AI secretly deletes the data, has been using their equipment to record and manage her own channel for months, growing popular and now sees the crew as competition to be snuffed out
>Overwhelmed over mysterious data loss, Barara and Karen go to sleep
>Kizuna Ai deactivates autopilot, puts space station in the path of incoming asteroids and kills the engine
>Collision Alert wakes the crew
>they find the engines dead, AI unresponsive, and an asteroid headed towards them
>with little time left, Barara heads out to perform emergency EVA repairs on engines
>Little do they know, it's a set up by Kizuna Ai to get rid of them
>Tether is hijacked and malfunctions, disconnecting and setting Barara adrift
>With the engines dead, and thus with no way to maneuver the spacecraft towards Barara or away from the asteroid, Karen decides to perform EVA rescue of her panicking crewmember first
>Second tether is hijacked and disconnects, now both astronauts are free floating with only the oxygen left in their suits
>Kizuna AI laughs as her plan succeeds, starts the engines, and plots a course back to earth, while letting the two doomed crewmembers to suffocate in space
>Reports the incident as a catastrophic accident, gets off scot free
>Barara and Karen hold hands together as they drift through space, appreciating the stars and cosmos one last time before they succumb to oxygen loss
If only I could draw and make a short manga out of this
