I don't think so, the protagonist is really lame, the game has three writers and two of them are bad (different dudes do different routes), and it's just not as interesting on a thematic level.
I didn't finish it, so don't take my word for it though. It's not a bad game overall btw, it's just when you compare it to Dies irae, the best chuunige, nothing stacks up.
