Science time guys!
Many of you were asking about wheter to use rubbing alcohol (mentioned as 2-propanol in my report) with onaholes or not. There was
many contorversity in the thread and now i can have proof for it to damage your onaholes!
So for those people who don't want to read the entire post: "tl;dr 2-propanol WILL damage your onahole
Let's get started!
first off i washed my onahole throughly with mild soap and rinsed it in multiple processes to ensure only the bare rubber and as
few as possible residues that aren't onahole rubber participate in this test.
After washing the onahole i cut it into bits, making sure i get a reviewable amount of inner layer on every bit.
I continued to rinse the two glasses throughly with water and wiped it with paper tissues to ensure residues sticking to the glass getting removed,
followed up with a quick rinse with 2-propanol.
I placed the onahole bits in the two glasses and poured in one 99.9% 2-propanol and in the other 40% vodka as controll sample.
To make sure the bits don't stick to each other and cover the initialy in the liquids, i stired them with a teaspoon cleaned with the same process
as i cleaned the glasses. Then i placed them in my wardrope to ensure a clean envirorment without puting a cover on the class (and to not fill my room with
2-propanol fumes).
After two hours i gave the samples a quick look, and what i instantly noticed, were oily residues on the surface of the 2-propanol samples.
After 24hours i concluded my test due to sufficent testing results, the 2-propanol became cloudy and here's conlusion:
I researched if tpe was soluble in 2-propanol (table posted some time ago ITT) and the table sayd it was. I can confirm that. The TPE bits didn't dissolve
noticeably, they seemed unharmed.
Let's take a look at the liquid changes. The oily residue i noticed after 2 hours must be plastilizer, you can see the same effects happening if you bathe
you onahole in hot water for a longer time. The plastilizers solute from the TPE and swim on the surface. To compare it, you get the same visual effect if
you put a drop of petrol in water. You may also encounter this if a car leaked petrol on a rainy day on the streets. On the 24 hour mark the plastilizers
leaked enough plastilizers to dim the 2-propanol. To reinforce my argument, the 2-propanol bits were completely dry which is a sign for missing plastilizers.
The plastilizers make the rubber more firm and oily which is a reason why we powder them. it's also notable that the bit was way more springy than an
unprocessed bit or one of the controll group (which was by the way completely unharmed by my extend).
The conclusion:
The 2-propanol detracted the Plastilizers which is clearly damaging of the onahole. It may not harm the onahole noticeably on short term contact, but it isn't
prooven what happens if you always kill the plastilizers on the surface of the onahole interior nor can we say what happens if we don't flush our onahole
properly after processing it with 2-propanol. So to speak for a guide contributor, we recommend against it since what damages your onahole on semi-long terms
may also damage your onahole on multiple instances.
The aftermath: Techfag in the chat pointed out that i can let the 2-propanol dry out, scoop up the precipitates and burn it. I will do this ( if i don't forget
it) and try to spark it with an unfueled sparker on a cleaned metal tray, and the with a flame if that doesn't work. This process can point out on the chemical
composition of matter.
