I always wondered this too for a long time. I think it's the same as the guys on /hr/ and occasionally /mu/ making these incredibly long SNSD threads.

But it seems /jp/ is a lot more social. The SNSD threads usually consist of 80% shitposts, telling others what a cheap ugly whore their favorite member is which makes me think they have a weird fetish where they get each other off by insulting the girls indirectly and the other anon faps to the images he constructs in his head.

Example:

Anon 1:

Anon2:
"Oh, everyone knows X is a cumslut who sucks off her manager."

Anon 1:

I bet /jp/ has a similar game going on.
