Mmhmm. I'm not a huge musou fan either, but as far as musou goes it wasn't even particularly good at that. And in my opinion, the level of fanservice and character assassination on display in Extella was some of the most egregious shit they've done in years. So much of that script is pure cringe. Can't believe Nasu would give the OK on most of that, but then again there's a lot of equally horrible shit in GO as well, so it's not like it's a phenomenon exclusive to Extella or anything.

When Nasu said all those years ago about how CCC was the last thing he had to say on Fate, I think he meant it -- at least in regards to the Extra stuff. Because everything since has been so bad. It's a shame.
