I've got my 1911 in my belt holster right now... not because I'm ever-vigilant, but because I'm taking it so fucking easy I can't be arsed to get up and put it on my nightstand.

Man this career of twelve-hour always-on-call days for barely 20K a year just sounds better and better every fucking time I turn around. I can't wait to start looking for work when I graduate in a month, crawling on my hands and knees to lick the boots of all the downscaling publications as my selected field implodes before my very fucking eyes.

Some days I just want to jam a pistol in my mouth.
