I’m just weirded out how much KC seems to hate the church. I know it’s normal for japan media to portray the church corrupt and god as evil, but damn. Nearly every entry is about how people are being sacrificed, or how the Order manipulates their young for personal gain and titles, the poor might as well die, Wilmarina’s childhood friend is removed from his position etc.
Even in MGQ when you outright fight angels they are portrayed in a better light. Most churches are genuinely pious followers of Ilias, there actually ARE some corrupt or violent priests but they are the minority, and one of the violent priests was outright marching to war himself to help the people. And some monsters legit join the faith because of the teachings or mutual respect and love preached.
I mean sure there is corruption, that’s natural. But it is just weird at this extent. >>36545315
