My second chapter is up. There have been a lot of re-writes and second-guessing where I wanted to go, but I'm overall happy with the direction I've chosen. I think this chapter is a bit dark, but I will say that the point of this story is not to be edgy. I hope some of the hints I dropped get noticed. I also really wanted to avoid ending on a cliffhanger, but at almost 4.5k words, it got to lengthy for a single sitting.

Future chapters should be much more regular. I already have some groundwork laid out.
