/jp/ - Otaku Culture

I was under the impression /jp/ meant Japan, but it's merely for otaku stuff.

Why not create a board for actual Japanese culture? You know, things related to the country itself.

I love it when threads with pictures of places and landscapes pop up, as well as discussions about all sorts of aspects within Japanese society, but those threads are quickly drowned out by others.

Can someone convince chinese moot to do this?
