It's not likely you'll have SAL as an option for something as big as a doll and from memory (I am open to correction) Mandarake does not under-declare items so you're gonna get slugged for any communist taxes regardless.

Everything I buy that is doll related gets sent via EMS, even clothing. I consider it the price paid to ensure the dockworker diversity quota doesn't get a Christmas present on my dollar.
