Hey, /jp/.

Normally I don't come her, but I have a question about Japan.

My friend told me that another friend's teacher warned him that when going to Japan that you're not supposed to hold a door open for a woman because they might fall in love with you.

Is this true? Can I go to Japan and do a normal thing and create a harem in under a day?

I remade the thread without an anime screenshot. I googled 'Japanese Holding the Door Open' and got this picture from an article called "7 Things You Should Do In Japan But Not In America", however this appears to be Korea. Why?

Also, how do people feel when you hold subways open for people? I once saw a fat black woman get stuck between two doors on the NYC subway because she threw her body in, but the conductor was refusing to open the door because he told her she was retarded. When he saw I just missed the train and didn't attempt the same thing he let the doors open and I was able to get on.
