I did an MTL patch for myself from the French Mahoyo patch, and I really liked how it turned out at the end. If someone wants to read MTL, here is the file for you.

The first 7 chapters are a McJon translation, later they use MTL. There are some bugs with lines and inconsistencies but overall it's a decent experience. Use the downloaded file to change patch.xp3 file in the HM patch.
