People expected lots from me, I distinctly recall that one former classmate of mine expected me to write bestselling books, even though I didn't do storytelling. I got into a funded university spot, and got the most obnoxious normal roommate.
A year or so later I'm practically dropping out, at the same time my grandmother died. My estranged grandmother who got to live a long life. People mourned lots, I had no reason to mourn, I didn't know her, and she didn't have a life full of regrets, only perhaps the insanity that came with the disease. With these feelings I threw my future away, no salvaging, nothing ever matters.
Family relations split apart, too, so now there's total abandonment. That's my heritage.
