I'm.... yes. By 4chan standards, I guess. As for the speed of a touhou through air... even in terminal-velocity freefall, the wind ripping past you is pretty fierce, makes it hard to hear, and without goggles the air pressure on your eyes makes things all blurry. For simple comfort reasons I doubt a touhou'd fly faster then 50, 60 MPH. Consider what it's like to stick your head out a car window moving at that speed - it's still not so fun.

If they HAVE to go faster, you can put it down to "lol magic." But if you want to be specific... well, I had to figure out how the hell Strike Witches move at 400+ MPH without ripping their faces off in the windstream; and the answer, as someone suggested, is "shields." A conical or concave shield would deflect air around the touhou in flight, serving as a kind of magical "nosecone." Touhous inherently capable of moving at insane speed, like Aya, probably skip this requirement and just Deal With It by virtue of Youkai Strength or something.

As for atmospheric drag, I doubt it's an issue because of simple thrust-to-weight ratios. With enough thrust, you can move anything, at high speeds, even - this is the operating principle behind roughly 3/4ths of American fighter aircraft ever built. Given the kind of energy output these little touhous manage, I posit that breaking the sound barrier would be childs play for them - just fire a Master Spark at the ground and ride the wave, baby. The real trick is surviving such transit without ripping their faces and/or frilly hats off.

Yes, this is true. The Mansion is not very well guarded - it's huge as fuck and only has one guard at the gate - and it doesn't NEED guarding because all the inhabitants can easily defend themselves, so why bother?

The only thing to do in the unguarded rooms would be to pilfer shit like candlesticks and such. As with most things Touhou there's a dozen different ways to take it, from consensual princess sexing to rape. Now, SSiB presents the Lunarian defense force (consisting of moon rabbits) as innocent, untrained bumblers. There's also nothing in canon to cast the Lunarians in a sympathetic light; Cage in Lunatic Runagate detailed how Lunarians have deliberately fucked up human affairs for centuries to keep us from being a threat. From this it's not hard to conclude that they're racist fucks against their own moon rabbits, in the same way they are against ordinary humans, and from the competence levels of the Bunny Guard, and the fact that Reisen fled the moon during the last 'war,' it's not hard to conclude that the Lunarians use the moon rabbits as cannon fodder.
