Here's my two cents.
6*s:
Kameda is great since she can summon several Red katana tokens which lends you massive deployment utility.
Takato is also great. She's a defensive support and is unique in having the strongest ally damage reduction buff as a Gigant skill (relevant since % ally buffs don't stack).
Warwick is good by simply being a reliable blocker that can hold her own with her Strategem.

5*s:
Sakamoto is really not that great. Gunners are expensive on Ki, and you typically want them to do DPS. Her stratagem is also pretty superfluous for the most part.
Hagi on the other hand is really great. A good Gigant skill combined with a ridiculous strategem that grants 5 (FIVE) block and bonus defense to any unit. Very high synergy with Takato's strategem for reasons that should be apparent.
Oko is quite good as a cheap and focused ally attack buffer that outputs decent damage herself.
Oka is alright for DPS, but her strategem is kind of useless which ends up needlessly inflating her Ki costs which is bad for a Crossbow unit.
Galliard is good if you need more blockers but she doesn't really do anything Warwick couldn't do better.
Odani and Yamato-Koriyama are quite useful since they have strong Gigant skills and their lack of strategem makes them cheaper to use.
I don't really like Iwadonoyama.

Also consider raising and remodeling Yanagawa since she gives you ki ramp.
