But if you want the story, there is a group that formed the EN wiki after disagreeing with wikia's methods and practices. They got some assistance from members of the Touhou wiki to erect the wiki and tried to convince wikia team to migrate off wikia, the same way Touhou wiki got off the wikia.

Kancolle wikia's head admin believes wikia is the only thing people should depend on and thus killed any chance to conduct a migration plan and killed any traces of the EN wiki on thier site as well as removed all members that chose to move.

EN Kancolle wiki has since then been working independently with a group trying to keep up the momentum of the game while keeping the traditional wiki look.

To be fair, they're always looking for people who are willing to help aid and contribute to the wiki.
