Does Natsuhi actually push the baby and the servant off the cliff? Maybe I was speed reading but the impression I got was that the entire thing was an accident that Natsuhi blamed on herself, but looking at all the wikis they say that she explicitly pushed them off the cliff. If so, I have no fucking idea why I thought it was ambiguous.

I liked how the adults in Umineko are mostly endearing scumbags. They each have some serious character flaw but you still want to see them redeem themselves and sort things out. Higurashi was mostly about kids, so this aspect was very limited. How grave of a sin can a kid commit and still be relatable? I also like how Hideyshi is basically the only decent adult person in the family, to contrast all the others. The cool, chill uncle or something like that. And then we never see what they make of their lives because everyone died in 1986
