Just watched Pop in Q with Japanese subtitles taken from Kitsunekko. The subs were off (showing up earlier and earlier as the film went on) so I had to use the transform framerate option in Aegisub to an output of 24fps to get them fully synced. Naturally I tried to listen to every line to see if I could understand it first before looking at the subs. The movie sucked, but it was my first time watching a whole movie with JP subs so it felt good to do. The toughest part was the start when most of the characters were talking in Tosa-ben, but they started using standard Japanese after getting isekai'd so it got much easier. Gonna keep on watching a bunch of other JP movies like this in the future to improve my listening skills.
