Because there is difference between paying and paying.

1) If I pay an artist a commission for something, then yes - I get to dictate the rules. What he draws, how he draws it, when he draws it.

2) If I buy a ticket for an Eminem concert I don't get to dictate shit. He will sing the songs he wants to sing, he will perform the way he wants to perform. Me having the ticket doesn't change anything in the act.

Streamers are 2), you are paying for the act, but you don't get to dictate the act.

It's what I work on everyday. I don't think it'll happen on a logical scale. But a man can always dream and work hard towards it. I'd be happy if someone of a similar disposition finds a way into her life regardless.
