Dear /jp/,

I'm sorry to come in here and disrupt our easy-taking. I wouldn't normally do this, but well, there is a war going on outside.

In rather unprecedented circumstances, we of the internet, as a political entity, hold the world's attention. This is an information war between generations, between the indoctrinated classes and the outsiders, between control and freedom, hegemony and democratic free expression. I think we on /jp/ know where we stand in this war. We cringe when the dominant culture attacks our loli, imposes censorship, and imprisons our comrades for victimless crimes.

As a longtime /jp/ resident, I would be the last to tag along and join the /b/tards on their idiot crusades, but I feel that this time a fair amount is at stake. Regardless of how you feel about Julian Asange and the Wikileaks scandal, the events being carried out have broader implications for how Power will view the internet. Everyone of us is a combatant in this latest struggle, and we need to be recognized.

Pic related, we don't' want to end up like Greendam-tan; and I fear China may end up being the new model for how countries will deal with the internet in the future.
Please consider joining Anonymous's DDos attack on paypal, mastercard and the agents of power who are working to isolate and destroy one of the most important dissidents of the century. The democratic powers that push against us are weak and vulnerable, and can be persuaded as history has proved.
