>Revealing your gender on 4chan is retarded.

Not to imply you're wrong or anything, but you most definitely do not see the same backlash when someone reveals that they're a boy. Usually, people simply don't give a shit, whereas if you reveal that you're a girl, there's the people who don't give a shit, and then there's the sperging Anons who have to convince them that they should never reveal their gender not ever again

If those who use this argument of "I'm not misogynistic, I think it's retarded that *anyone* reveals their gender on 4chan" were consistent in their line of thinking, they would see the wisdom in simply not caring at all and remaining silent when she reveals her gender. After all, what better way to demonstrate that it truly does not matter than to not care one way or another?

Before you turn away from the Way of The Controller, Anon, I recommend getting a USB converter and a PS2 Dual Shock, or maybe even a PS3 controller (even though I've never used it, as I understand they're basically the same). It's what I use, and the d-pad is absolutely wonderful. It's all the advantages of a keyboard (precision movement, "taps" are consistent) without any of the disadvantages (every input key being the size of your damn thumb)

Not to shatter your ego or anything, but maybe it just wasn't a very interesting thread

Gaijin loser in Japan here.

1. Drinking is a huge part of Japanese culture and Asia as a whole (China ranks #1 in beer consumption in the world), everybody drinks it, nobody gives a fuck so you won't ever get ID'd.

2. You can buy alcohol in vending machines all over the streets in every city you find, so you don't even have to worry. These mostly sell beer and sake, but that's good enough to get drunk.

The Japanese are slowly but steadily killing off every species of whale swimming within their territorial waters. Soon the sea surrounding the Japanese isles will be completely devoid of whales because of this relentless hunting.
How would a Japanese parent describe the sound of a whale to his children if they have never or heard a whale in their life because they've all been hunted into extinction?

>That means those threads serve a higher purpose

Which is why /jp/ needs to relax, take it easy and not take the internet so darn seriously.

You can always tell who are the NEETs, hikis, schizoids and so on and so on by the hostility in their posts. The angrier they get over something posted on the internet the more socially awkward they probably are, as only somebody with no life would lend the smallest sliver of concern to, say, an off topic thread posted in their precious /jp/.

They seem to forget 4chan has hundreds of thousands of hits a day and their are thousands of people who post here. Nothing makes /jp/ any different than other boards; we're going to get stray posters and trolls. Just deal with it or go to more hidden boards like Bunbunmaru or Tohno-chan (which is where most of our oldest posters are at anyway).

The more you retard kids freak out over OT posts the more trolls are going to keep making threads that have nothing to do with /jp/. Every time you reply with "saged, reported, faggot go die" it makes trolls feel warm inside and they keep doing it.

Or you can hide thread and not look like some autistic faggot wasting an hour "derailing" a thread!

I posted this over at http://anonib.com/hikikomori earlier.

>You could always try out the Job Corps. It's basically menial vocational work, but if you only want to do it for a few months, it's not too bad. Gets you some money, I guess.

>Data entry is a great job for a hiki; if they do call you back, check it out.

>Other suggestions for anyone in general are landscaping, which is popular with youth/university students in warm months. Not sure about the pay but you take home a couple hundred every week, easy.

>Security guard is also interesting. I did this a few years back for 3 months. All I did was ride a bike around this train yard at night and check some locks and crap. Other time was spent on my laptop or DS or whatever.

>Cleaning/housekeeping/custodian work is also easy to get into. Most people never think of doing this, but it can be good depending on where you go. For example, institutions like hospitals and offices employ dozens of them and if they're unionized, you can make good money doing it. When I was 15, my neighbours mother did this at a hospital and made $23.50 Canadian an hour. For sweeping floors and emptying some trash cans, that's great money.

>Another job is warehouse work. Most places pay 15+ an hour for you to push around boxes and deliver them. This was my only other job aside from security, and it was at a hospital. I made 19.75 an hour as a part time employee and all I did was deliver medical supplies to different parts of the building.

Telemarketing is also easy, but the pay sucks and it's unsecure. It's also boring as fuck.

Also - not joking - sell pot. In Canada, anyway, it's easy and low risk since EVERYBODY smokes the stuff. You can rake in hundreds and hundreds. And it's not like selling crack or meth and you're going to get caught. But this is probably stupid advice for most people.

Non-blood related sisters still call you 'onii-chan'.
Why so against them, then?
