RIP Kirishima nad Furutaka, victims of my ill advised cannon fodder run.

I'd advise against starting this without 20k fuel and ammo stockpiled, I think I was pretty lucky overall.

4DD runs do wonder for resource convervations. I've even sunk the bitch one with them.
