It's usually relatively easy, but bad luck with pandemonium rooms can make any mission brutal. I ran into one a while ago that was full of Suikas that had all just been startled by a big Kogasa. I survived the ensuing barrage of long-range explosives thanks to an invincibility drug and Okuu spamming giga flare, but that combination of enemies made the next few floors rough going. All the enemies that can attack you without line of sight are obnoxious.

I've also had a few runs ended by a giant pandemonium room full of big Flans. It's extra fun when they're initially off-screen, so you just take one step and die before you can even recognize the threat.
