/tg/ lit the Fuuka signal, and thus I was sent here to set you bastards right.

What is manliness?

Manliness is a lost art. That is what manliness is. It isn't about being a boisterous loudmouth. It isn't about the size of your muscles. It isn't about how many times you defy death with idiotic stunts. These are not the qualities of a man. It isn't this warped modern view of manhood of being a big dumb lumox only good for crushing beer cans and daring eachother to jump off a bridge.

What is a man? A miserable pi- A man is a man in his every movement. It is how he carries himself. His every step you look and see that he is a man. His every word, his every move, his every action is done with care and precision. He is grace. He is power. He is intelligence. He is well read. He is polite. A real man shows no anger. He will speak clearly and kindly, even in the face of his most hated enemy. He will endeavor never to lose control of himself. He will reserve such displays only for the right moment. Even at his fiercest, at his most terrible, a real man still keeps the air of a gentleman.

He is not afraid of appearing soft. Nor is he afraid of being accused of being 'womanly' for being well read and intelligent. Reading poetry? Back in the day, that is what real men did. A real man could rattle off words. Brilliant words. Amazing words. All at demand.

A real man cannot be provoked to prove his manhood. He is above such base taunts, and he shows his manhood at all times. Man is in his every fiber.
