There is a group of Japanese that claims that the Japanese people are actually a lost tribe of Israel.
Sure, they are probably just a bunch of crazy folks, but sometimes it can be fun to believe! You just need to think out of the box. Gensokyo is the Land of Illusions and Fantasy. Nothing there makes perfect sense or can be explained by pure logic.
