Me and a friend have been trying to identify this song for several years now. I first heard it in 2002, in a thread on a sonic forum where people were discussing it, trying to work out what it comes from.

To me, it definitely sounds Japanese. Perhaps it comes from an early eroge or something, or some pc98 game. Do any of you recognise it?
