I can get that, but hostess are hostess and idols are idols. In principle, blending them together should produce a self-defeating sign or at least some level of cacophony: an idol acting like a hostess is degrading and a hostess acting like an idol is nerdy. However, it has become the norm and draft girls are thinking in that terms already; to me, this seems an indication of at least 2 different but correlated modal phenomena taking place:

1) The emergence of an all-encompassing thus paraconsistent new feminine ideal, sprung from the very same oxymoron of "virtual reality" as the totality of ideal systems of reference described by Baudrillard.

2) Either a desperate salvage of cisgender dynamics by establishing a new dichotomy between unabridged femininity and totally castrated postmodern men, or a transgender advance in the sense that men can approach passive femininity only as much as they allow women to become more and more empowered.

Take into account that I majored in maths, hate women and barely know what I'm talking about here.
