This is going to sound incredibly self-centered, but I imagine everyone here, tripfag OR anon, thinks this way: I'm not going to cater to the lowest common denominator at the expense of my own enjoyment of /jp/ unless forced to by site rules. If people are such idiots that they're willing to shit up a board based on faux usernames, there's a good chance they're such idiots that they would have found some other way to shit it up even if they didn't have that outlet.

To be honest, from what I've seen lately /jp/ on the whole seems to be a lot more chill than it used to be. People calling me out on attention whoring or triptrolling or whatever are fewer and further between than before, and I've found other Anons tend to yell at them for being stupid faggots whilst I ignore them. I don't actually think tripfagging is much of a problem anymore.
