Hey /jp/ I'll be leaving for Tokyo tomorrow and will be there studying abroad for a semester. Was wondering if anyone had some recommendations of places to go, things to do, etc. I'm already studying Japanese, currently I'm just conversational and know about 150-200 kanji so I'm basically quite illiterate, doing my best though!

ITT Do you speak Japanese? If so, how did you learn? What are some tips you can give to effectively learning the language. I'm in my 2nd semester of Japanese but I could use any and all tips people can offer. Kanji is the bane of my existence :X
