Alright! Now, for the reveal!
The evidence of the existence of true magic in Umineko is... drumroll please... this sprite!
Or more specifically the lack of aging which it demonstrates. In Twilight of the Golden Witch, there are three different perspectives at three different times and places which observe Hachijo Ikuko. First, Battler/Tohya meets her in 1986. Then, there is the narration which describes the 1998 press conference 12 years later, which isn't associated with any particular character. Lastly, Ange meets Ikuko "decades later", at a time when Battler/Tohya (who was noted as being younger than Ikuko when they met) has already completely gone grey, while Ange has had a full and lengthy career as a novelist.
At all three of these times Ikuko looks exactly the same. Between 1986 and an unspecified date which can be no earlier than 2018 she doesn't age a day. This is proof positive that her existence is being kept as an unaging constant by magic.
