Was thinking the tree is more like a tool you control than an actual body, not that it really makes a difference I suppose. I actually like the idea of being able to turn into a giant spider or mollusc creature but actually having sex in that form is too weird for me

KC made some sketches that detail the design a bit more that he released with her "making of" article. It seems to indeed be a pouch on the bottom of the head segment (or "cephalon" as the profile names it).

So how do you think the scholar is going to get out of this one? Perhaps the abyssals will just let him go eventually so he can spread knowledge of them to the rest of the world? Then he can finally get to the Mist Continent like he's wanted to do for years.
