I remember some turboautists opting to create a local hydrus instance to sort their huge collection of seiyuu photos. It's basically a private booru you can use as a file database, utilizing tags/operators to search for exactly what you're looking for. Needless to say, without automation of some sort it'd be a massive time sink to manually tag everything though.
