There's this writer in my country who wrote like 50 books, mostly about his own life but also about regular people. I'm reading his first book from 1958 and it's about construction workers building a house. The main character is a foreman. I think Anubis would enjoy this type of story.
And then I realized, what if it was a story about an Anubis foreman? Imagine her trying to keep her lazy, alcoholic or communist workers busy so the house is finished on time. Sounds pretty comfy to me.
