Hey. I feel I should explain why Chapter 10 is in this state. If only so that it is fully explained on-record. By the way; I am the one who leaked the files on Christmas Day. I had also forgotten there was already a pre-made patch to use in the files. It has been quite some time, you know? Moving on, however.

You can now laugh at the HM team again. Okay, it goes like this. The translation and editing work for 10 was the absolute worst part of the project. I was one of the only staff members doing any sort of real work at that time in Oct. 2019.

Ever since the beginning, the HM group efforts were a huge mess. But that's not the focus of my post here today. Chapter 10 was given to an entirely un-experienced, random volunteer who asked to work on something out of excitement and enthusiasm for the team.

They are called un-experienced by me because they literally had zero prior work with editing, working on literature, or any form of written word at all. So, against my better wishes on the subject, Andrew and the team let them on to work with Chapter 10.

Eventually, there was never much progress made past what you see and have here now. The translators weren't really interested in working on 10 from French to English either. The "Editor" whom was the newbie added for this specific chapter took forever, entire days to show off just little amounts of progress.

At the end of this story, the "Editor Volunteer" eventually gave up and left out of nowhere, basically doing what is called ghosting today. Chapter 10 was left in limbo. That's it.

However, what furthermore I can tell you is: Chapters 11-13 are basically finished to the state of Chapter 9 is as some other posters mentioned here in the thread. If you are going to question anyone for the strange, mechanical use of grammar and speech style, also the use (or no use there of) contractions in the various Chapters, I was the only one really doing much Editing/QC/Check on them at the time in 2019. I signed into the project originally as part of being a Regular in an old discord server. Then, the whole thing blew up out of proportions. At the very start of the HM group, the staff even made fun of the public users in the new server for HM at that time. shitting on them behind private rooms. Now, that really is it. HM are a bunch of assholes and nobody should have to wait for them, so I advise everyone to indeed see about making their own variant TL works from the HM leaks. Have a good week, everyone.
