At first I was like

it was just so damn silly - the extremely angsty emo protagonist, the first two ridiculous battles, the pseudo-cyberpunk world, childishly trying to be all dark with rape and stuff, I found it all endearing.
But then it got actually good - the scenes between Taoluo and Ruili, then slowly revealing Liu's motives, and in the end Ruili's real feelings.
And that fucking ending. So damn good.
It's just such a shame that it was all so watered down with this extremely immature martial arts nonsense.
I don't mind martial arts - but nigga, please, give me shit that makes sense, not Magical Chinese Aikido and "my Kung Fu is strong today".
And if you want to pay homage to wuxia movies, that's okay too, but not in a story like that.
Still, because of the ending and Liu's(and Taouluo's I guess) motives I still loved it.
I don't usually like dark VN's, but this had a nice, happy ending - and I'm a gigantic sucker for "for the girl I love I'd destroy the whole world, even if she's utterly batshit insane" kinda stuff.
Oh, and the music was great.
Art was okay, the cg backgrounds were cheesy as hell, but all in all it was pretty good.
But god damn it, MEN'S JAWS DON'T WORK LIKE THIS.
All in all, not exactly a great VN, a VN that's highly confused about what it's trying to be, but a very enjoyable one nonetheless.
It's short, so if you didn't read it before go give it a try.
