>Your face is stone, it is as rigid as a Roman marble statue, your eyes affixed at the woman who was standing in the middle of the karaoke room.
>You and your girlfriend(?), the Mistress of Time, Ouro Kronii, were partaking in some singing. To be accurate, you have forced her to partake in some singing.
>It all started when you were in Koreatown, she wanted to try the new barbeque place that opened. The only thing you remembered other than the delicious but overpriced meat was the torturous scream of your wallet as you emptied it's guts out.
>That was when you saw the huge sign that read "Karaoke" in Japanese, English, Mandarin and Hangul.
>You immediately recognized the telltale signs of Kronii's seemingly dissatisfied expression but in secret burning desire to indulge in something.
>You had to basically drag her here. You wanted a little revenge, you were willing to spend more to have it.
>You're starting to regret it, Kronii was genuinely uncomfortable. Even with you as the only audience, she seemed to be almost on the verge of a breakdown at the prospect of singing to someone.
>That was why you tried to maintain such a stoic façade, in order for her to calm down.
>"A-Anon, if you make fun of me I swear..."Her lower lip is quivering, her eyes are narrowed, and you can see her cheeks puff up in misplaced anger.
>"Don't worry, just one song." You maintain your composure, you don't want to torture her. It weirds you out seeing her like this, a bundle of nerves.
>"F-Fine." She bends down towards the small karaoke machine, shifting through the song list.
>Your heartbeats rise in tempo, you're not even the one singing and you're nervous. You're honestly worried you might have made a mistake for doing this to Kronii.
>Her eyes widen in recognition, she takes a deep breathe and taps on the screen with a finger tip.
>She stands up, facing the TV screen. She ignores you completely. That's good, you don't want her to mind you. You just want her to sing the song.
>The opening tune is in MIDI, but you recognize it instantly.
>It was the breaking hit song of that romance flick you watched with Kronii, the one that brought her to tears.
>"There's a song that's inside...of my soul." Kronii is singing the song in a lower octave than the original singer, she's unstable and she's breathing abnormally.
>She still sounds good.
>"So I lay....my head...back down." She's doing it, she's getting immersed in the song. She's making fewer mistakes.
>"And I lift my hands...and pray..." Wait, something was wrong. You can her her voice cracking a bit.
>"To be only yours I pray...." You can feel it, she's about to break down. You're about to break down.
>"Your my only hope..." She barely finishes, she's sobbing as the song ends. It gives her a score of 89 to the sound of triumphant celebratory music.
>You embrace her from the back, holding her tightly.
>She's crying, but she did it.
>"You did good, you're amazing Kronii." You're tearing up yourself, kissing her on the scalp.
>She's still crying.
>"T-Thank you." She's crying tears of joy.
