My personal favorite games are the Wii games, Tree of Tranquility and Animal Parade. I love everything about those two, the farming is great, the animals are great, the mining and fishing is great. The silly little story quests they give you arent so bad either. The characters are really my favorite thing about it, there's a huge variety and I feel like they have a lot more depth than the characters in previous installments. Even the non-marriage candidates are interesting.

I really recommend giving either one a try, if you have the chance. A lot of people seem to ignore them for some reason.
