I'm going by the asian food market tomorrow morning, and I'm thinking of picking something up. I've been there before, but all I got was date-filled bread, coconut-cream bread, and some chocolate... snack things.

I never have a fucking clue what to look for. What's good and generally in most asian food markets? I doubt it'll be mentioned, anyway, but NOT Ramune. Godamn that shit is disgusting.

Why does Japanese bread suck so much? When going into bakeries, there is sweet bread, bread with non-sweet things inside/on top, bread with nuts, chocolate bread, WHITE bread, etc. etc.
Yet there is no real bread. Why can't I just have regular, basic, classic, healthy bread?

I didn't realize that /jp/ was just an extention of /a/ + /v/ weaboo faggotry. Lets talk some real Japan shit. People who've lived there: what do you miss most? plans on going back? People planning on going: are you going for study abroad? JET?
