There is something about this image that gives me this feeling that I can't really put into words. The closest word I can think of is melancholy, but thats not it. She still makes this expression sometimes to this day, but its very rarely (I'll try finding another image). The feeling is like longing to grow up with nocchi, but knowing it will never be a reality, but at the same time the possibility of that occurring is a happy feeling but fleeting I guess. Also I know she is like 16 in this picture, but I don't feel like a pedo or anything, because there nothing sexual about this feeling. About the particular smile itself- I guess this her purest smile. There is no pretense, its what comes naturally. No need to look extra happy for the cameras like a certain someone (cough cough A-CHAN). Actually I think she has similar smile in that picture where she is holding the rabbit, and she is wearing that cute hat.
