Suwako is my favorite goddess.

What is the meaning of the serpent in the Suwako pictures? Actually, what is the meaning of the frog as well. The wiki doesn't give a lot of backstory.

Not my favorite Touhou, but I've definitely started taking an interest in the MoF group as of late. As far as Suwako goes at least, this is easily a favorite.

Yeah, a lot of character development comes in as a bonus of being in one of the fighters. I suppose that's why Suika and Tenshi were very popular despite (for a while) being known only from their lines/animation/bio from their respective appearances in the fighters.

Ok well, actually, Cirno was already very well-known, so her Soku appearance didn't cause much of a stir.. but, we were basically in the dark as to how Suwako actually behaved. Before, people heard "ancient earth goddess" and thought of her more like pic related. After she appeared in Soku, she comes across much more like a playful, goofy, carefree goddess.

The choice here is obvious for me. Most of the Suwako pictures I find are pretty crumby, though. I begin to lose faith, until I find a gem like this.
