Ha, there's some other dude here that has been fiending for a tell all interview with Maki for quite some time now, talking about her time in the idol industry how she was treated at UFA, her life and whatnot. You and him seem to be on the same page.
I don't care either way, but if she feels the need to write a book or speak up about her past then she should, as long as it's on her. What you described in your post up there sounded like some exploaitative made for TV J-drama, haha. That I am not a fan of.

And apparently she talks about a mess of fucked up things in the Glamorous interview.
