I would actually really like a story about that. A captured mamano, roughed up by her captors and thrown into a cell getting taken pity on by her guard as he talks to her and gets to know her. We have a million stories the other way around, with mamano capturing men, but none from the other side.

A breakout story where the guard that fell for her has to help her escape her impending execution, at great risk to his own neck, would make for a tense, conflict driven story.
